ASSEMBLY

Assembly of “Lucky” the Horse requires at least two people. When removing wrap for the first time, use blunt-ended scissors instead of a blade:

(a)               Place a washer and a knob on one end of the rod labeled 1R. Tighten the knob until it is flush with the rod. Insert the open end of the rod into hole #1R (see Picture A) on the right side of the body; start on the “inside” of the body so that the other end of the rod protrudes from the “outside” of the body. Take the assembled right forelimb and place it through the rod that protrudes from the “outside” of the body; tighten it with a washer and a knob.

(b)               Repeat this process with rod labeled 1L onto the left side of the body.

(c)               Place a washer and a knob on one end of the rod labeled 5 and then insert it into hole #5 ) on the right side of the body; start on the “outside” of the body so that the other end of the rod protrudes from the “inside” of the body. Take the tail and thread the “loop” end through the protruding rod so that the tail lays flush along the indentation.

(d)               Pick up the left side of the body, mirror it with the right side, and sandwich the two halves together, making sure the protruding rod threads through the corresponding hole. Place a washer and knob on the rod and tighten.

(e)               Place 3 washers and 3 knobs each on one end of rods labeled 3, 4, and 6. Insert these rods into holes #3, 4, and 6 (see Picture B) and place washers and knobs on the other ends.

(f)                 Assemble hind legs onto the body using rod labeled 7; tighten washers and knobs on either end.

Assemble the head onto the body using rod labeled 2; tighten washers and knobs on either end.
